Izzakaya style dining; order many dishes to share with your friends. Each dish is meant to be divided 5 or 6 ways. Please share your dining experience.

Goryu Village

For Japanese style pizza, very thin bases. Salads and many side dishes to share! Korean style and Italian style risotto in cast iron pots. Great place to enjoy cocktails and cold beer on tap.

Canada Tei
Extensive menu, sashimi, teppanyaki, nabe, rice and more. Friendly host, will recommend the special of the day. Local family run restaurant. Good food for all the family.

Sushi Katsu
For Sushi and pork katsu cutlet dishes. 70 year old tonkatsu recipe and Kimono wearing serving staff for a traditional experience.

Il Bosco
Italian/Japanese fusion, 4 Course Dinner set, homemade paté, bread and pasta. Reservations are required in advance.

Base Hakuba
Across from the Sky4 ski-lift Goryu Resort. Cafe serves great coffee and donuts. Next door Burgers and Brews - A Burger restaurant (and parmas) serving local beers.

Bike Bar
Live music events, a good hamburger, pizza and chunky chips. Great for families early in the night, pool table and plenty of room to run about.

Sauce Café & Izakaya
Check out Sauce on any night of the week for beers, cocktails, and light snacks. They have darts, cozy couches, and a large bar with friendly staff.

Tracks Bar
For cheap eats (burgers, burritos, pizza, nachos), free pool table, beer on tap, strong cocktails, super friendly folks, and some of the best live music and local crowds too.

Da Monde
Da Monde is commonly known as "Darts Bar’. They have 2 electronically operated dart boards. They also have karaoke and a good selection of manga for those who prefer to put their feet up and do a little reading (in Japanese).

Tonegawa Soba
One of the best soba restaurants in the Hakuba village. Set in a beautiful old Minka (Japanese farm house) complete with irori (a sunken hearth used for cooking and eating), kotatsu (heated tables), and hand-made hanten (a quilted robe for guests to wear). Open for lunch only.

Yuki Maru
Izakaya, extensive English menu

OnSki in for lunch or dinner, watch the world go by, in the warmth. Good hearty food, coffee and hot chocolate.

Shabu Shabu, Sukiyaki and Steak. Local Nagano wine and great tasting sake.
